Description
We are currently looking for a director of sales to focus on increasing the portfolio of Assets being currently managed. You will be required to have an existing network of contacts within the Solar PV market.

Position Overview:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a strong sales candidate to join an early stage start-up organization in which they would be able to develop their careers and build an extensive network of contacts in the market. You would be negotiating and closing deals with key clients in the Solar PV market.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate, execute and maintain sales strategies
- Develop key contacts in the Solar PV market
- Negotiating terms and closing deals
- Ensure all deals meet revenue and margin expectations
- Develop and manage a pipeline that supports the company’s growth strategy in asset management sales
- Manage projects by setting priorities and expectations, problem solving, communicating ongoing status updates
- Develop and manage all key accounts
- Generating leads and arrange client visits with a view to pitching asset management and generating new business

Requirements

Education:
Must have strong educational background in Engineering and/or Business (MBA desirable)
Core Requirements:
- You will have at least 3-5 years of sales experience in the large scale sector of the solar industry
- Ability to travel frequently to client sites
- Must have an extensive network with Solar Industry companies in the American market
- Must have experience in proposal writing and execution of sale to contract award
- Proficient with making impactful presentations
Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
- Proven track record in sales and growth
General Requirements:
- Good understanding of requirements in the solar industry
- Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies
Key skills:
- Renewable energy, strong sales experience with large-scale PV installations
