Executive Team

The NeoZyte team is uniquely qualified to lead the renewable energy asset management industry. Our leadership has over 50 years of combined experience in solar system and enterprise technology management.

Anil Sahai, President and CEO
Anil has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, managing engineering and business organizations at Fortune 500 companies including Apple, Intel, Amdahl/Fujitsu and Compaq. In 2000 Anil founded performance modeling and capacity planning firm Ezyte Inc. Following Ezyte's acquisition by Procera Networks, a publicly-traded firm, he became executive vice-president and CTO at Procera.

Anil has worked with companies in the solar, healthcare, telecom, security, financial, airline and retail industries in the US, Africa, Middle East and South America. Anil has managed M&A exits and worked extensively with VCs, including private and institutional investors. He has raised $M from private (angel), VC funds and PIPEs through hedge funds.

Anil has a Ph.D in Computer Science, and a Masters from the Sloan School of Management at MIT with specialization in International Corporate Strategies and New Product Development.

Laks M. Sampath, Executive Vice President
Laks is a seasoned Executive with proven expertise in the Solar PV system integration. He has over 10 years of experience as a Solar PV system integrator and Utility scale projects and understands all aspects of design and installation of roof mounts, ground mounts and trackers. During this period he has worked on projects ranging from 2KW to 20MW.

He has a strong technical background with extensive knowledge in improving operational efficiencies and has proven experience in guiding SPG Solar through year over year double digit growth. At SPG Solar he was a Senior Executive responsible for strategic planning of rapid but managed growth helping the company grow from a $5M 15 person operation to nearly $100M and over 175 people in little over 5 years.

Laks is also a strong advocate of designing optimally performing PV systems and more importantly ensuring years of production with proper attention to Operations and Maintenance. Laks has been an invited speaker at the Solar Power International, Solar Power Generation, PV America, Sandia Lab Reliability conferences and the Energy efficiency and Sustainability Symposium in the past.

At Trina Solar, Laks was responsible for all aspects of Technical feasibility for new Utility Scale projects and ensuring developed projects are designed and installed for maximizing energy production. His diverse background in evaluating new technologies in the PV market for adoption and expertise in metrics for evaluating effectiveness of progress and profitability of projects serve him ideally in evaluating specific equipment and selecting EPCs for 20 MW PV Projects. In addition to working on projects in USA, he has worked on Trina Solar projects in Italy and Mexico.

A Mechanical Engineering graduate of Bangalore University, Laks has a MS ME from University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from Santa Clara University in California.
